About the event

Joeri Timmermans returns to Asia with a total takeover at Chenin, straddling both A la carte and Tasting menu this August 
Beginning his career at 14 years old in the Netherlands, Joeri worked for several Michelin starred restaurants, including Restaurant de lindehof in Nuenen **, Restaurant Parkheuvel**, Beluga** and Restaurant de Leuf**.

 In 2013, Joeri moved to Australia and began working as junior sous-chef at Momofuku Seiōbo, the first restaurant of David Chang outside of the USA, and then as a Sous chef at Automata in Sydney Joeri then moved to Singapore to open Blackwattle as a head chef in 2017. At Blackwattle, Joeri brought a taste of Automata to Singapore. The restaurant featured a evolving five-course tasting menu to move the freedom and energy from the kitchen into the dining room. 
 Joeri then became Chef de Cuisine at Ce La Vi on top of MBS, one of the most iconic locations in Singapore. After Ce La Vi Joeri moved to the Maldives to be a head chef at the ledge by Dave Pynt (1* burnt ends Singapore no.24 Asias 50 best). In 2023 Joeri moved to Antwerp to open up untitled. In the former upper room bar At The Jane in Antwerp.
