About the event
Leonardo Fonseca Celis has trekked the globe in search of flavors for more than 10 years. Born in Colombia, Leo went straight to the deep end to stage at Noma in 2013 right after graduating from a local cooking school, followed by interning at other Michelin-starred restaurant in Copenhagen for almost 3 years. He then moved back to Bogotá where he was the Head Chef of El Chato Restaurant (No.2 in Latin America 50 Best 2024). Later He moved to Slovenia full time to work at Hiša Franko ( No.32 in World’s 50 Best 2024)and with chef Ana Roš AKA The World’s Best Female Chef. Little did he know that he would spend the next 6 years of his culinary career as her Head chef. Leo is now on the hunt for a prime location to open his debut Restaurant in 2025, but in the meanwhile is able to spare sometime to host this very exclusive pop-up at Chenin.
