Chef Max Boonthanakit is making his much-anticipated return to his roots for four unforgettable nights at Chenin. As the Executive Chef of Camphor, No. 8 Hospitality’s Michelin-starred modern French Bistro in Los Angeles, Max has led the restaurant to Michelin-star status three years in a row. Many locals will remember Max from his time as Head Pastry Chef at Blue by Alain Ducasse in 2019 or for his famed ‘BooN’ Chinese Chili Crisp, a rare treat in Bangkok — we’re hoping he brings some along for those lucky enough to join us! Beyond Camphor and Blue, Max has sharpened his skills in some of LA’s most beloved kitchens, including Ink, Republique, Kato, Nightshade, and The Bazaar by José Andrés.
