About the event
Sam Lawrence began cooking in Melbourne, Australia before moving to Paris to work along side a fellow Australian and good friend James Henry of the highly acclaimed Le Doyenne at Bones.
He then assumed the role of Chef de Cuisine at Estela after his highly encouraged pop-up, here in New York. This led him to the position at the Mattos Hospitality as their Culinary Director, which led to Estela receiving their first Michelin star.
Before he opens his own restaurant in Downtown Manhattan, He’ll be swiftly making a rare appearance at Chenin for 3 nights only on March 1st to the 3rd.
Sam is the best Aussie chef you’ve probably never heard of, and we’re beyond thrilled to finally have him over to cook with us.
