Danny Africano is the Chef patron of Lignum Restaurant in Galway in the West of Ireland. Danny took over his parents’ old restaurant where he grew up in the kitchen and gave it a new life as Lignum. Focusing on cooking over fire and approaching Irish ingredients with an Italian eye, Lignum has gained a huge following in Ireland and a michelin star is surely on the horizon.
Born in Wexford, Ireland, Kevin O’Donnell has moved through the restaurant world over 15 years, most recently spending 6 years at Restaurant Kadeau in Bornholm and Copenhagen, as head chef of Kadeau Bornholm and working as Nicolai Nørregaards right hand as Head of R&D. He is currently with James Henry at Le Doyenne and working on a future project which will take him back to Ireland at some point in the near future
The lads first met at Kadeau Bornholm in 2020 and have remained friends since, and are now delighted to bring a menu with influences from all over the world to Bangkok.
12 course tasting menu will include some exclusive charcuterie from Le Doyenne as well as a delectable grilled Kinki with whelk ragu and Irish heritage Connemara lamb 🐑
