About the event
Formed in 2015 by chefs Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng, TĀ TĀ Eatery is a nomadic brand traveling from place to place. A melting pot of East meets West, a marriage both in life and of cuisines, Portuguese and Chinese, and also everything else in between that interests them in pursuit of deliciousness, and to create something that they can call their own. This experience is largely inspired by Meng’s mindfulness journey, particularly by metta bhavana, a meditation practice where we radiate loving-kindness, promoting empathy for all. The meal is divided into five moments based on ingredients we have complex connections with, aiming to bring a sense of balance and harmony to the flow of the meal.
