Tobias learned his craft around the world in well-known restaurants like Noma in Copenhagen and Ernst in Berlin and after stations in Japan and Mexico he lastly worked with Francis Mallmann in Argentina.

His restaurant and dinner series Ember -Open Fire Cooking has become one of the most exciting endeavour in and around Berlin over the last three years. Taking diners to abandoned buildings, river sides and rooftops and cooking on their outdoor fire kitchen, they redefine what a dining experience can be. Furthermore Tobias is discovering his roots of southern Germany, bringing back nostalgic and forgotten classic dishes to the table.

Now he is bringing those beautiful flavors to Chenin on 8th February until the 10th February
